There'a a saying that says that you should start everything on a positive note. As much as I want to whine about how occupied I have been, and how sorry I am for the sporadic postings, I guess it's only wise that I hold it back. Seeing that this is my last semester in the university, I have not been having much free time on my hand. Hopefully come May, I will be able to update more regularly. InsyaAllah :)

p/s: I quit stating where my clothes are from for it's always bought at the same place. Nowdays, I am a frequent shopper in Johor :) There, I scout clothes from one shopping centres to another and they are usually from unbranded stores. In Singapore, I typically shop at Bugis :) And oh, on another note, just leave your links behind and I will link you :)

Spent the day in Ikea looking at home decors and stuffs. Anyway I love the balls that are popping out from this mini dress. Mum picked this up for me and I loved it to bits :) Somehow, my obsession for wooly things seems to have grown.

Just in case you're wondering... yes, I am still alive and kicking well :)

A week ago I attended my guy's brother wedding dinner (well that's a mouthful ain't it?) wearing this sheer maxi dress in a shade of a (tacky) green and purple. Well it was between this shimmery dress and a sequined mini but this dress just seems to scream to me more. Considering the shimmery shade, you wouldn't be surprised then had I told you that I bought this dress from a store selling belly dancing costumes and whatnots. The detailing on this dress, the slits and tiny crsytals were just too good to pass on. And of course, Eleh, being Eleh, it's a given then there is no close up of it. Well that I owe you. I will get on to taking a clearer picture of the dress. And oh, what is it with hair dresser these days? You ask for your hair to be cut a certain length but poof, she just happily and merrily chop off a good half of it. As an aftermath, I now look like a fifteen year old. Thanks man.

I'm holding back from posting as I have been busy preparing for Syawal. So this will be a very quick post before I resume spring cleaning the house. Anyway, we went to Geylang today but came back empty handed. On a brighter note, at least we were happy for we got full from all the street foods that we ate. That aside, today I wore a vintage silk blouse and my T-bar wedges which have been faithfully collecting dust in the past months. Tsk.

So it is me and my guy's 6th years anniversary today. Six years might seem like a long time but it actually isn't. It takes a lifetime to really know a person. Thus, each time that we meet up, I am always amazed at the new things I learn about him. That aside, today I decided to wear this gorgeous tiered dress that my mum got me. It has five layers which make it a pain to iron. But all the ironing was worthwhile for it is indeed a beautiful dress and perfect for such joyous occasion. To top it off, I wore it with my salmon lace jacket and clogs. And oh, thank you Emak for this and for all the love that you have showered me with :) And thank you hoNey for being there with me for those six years :) Sayang semuanya.

So I guess wearing wedges on rainy days isn't such a good idea. Although those platforms help to lift you up so your feet wouldn't get wet, wearing them too often (and here I emphasize on the word often) will eventually lead to them giving way. Not one, but two of my platform wedges will never get to see daylight again. Such sadness. And as luck would have it, it rained again today. Not willing to take the risk, I thus decided to just go with flats and my asymmetric shirt dress. And oh, as shallow as this may sound, at least this gives me a reason to get new pair of wedges. Heh.

Without even realizing it, I decided to go all black on the day of the most widespread superstition. Insinuation, urban legend and superstition aside, today was actually a fruitful day. Utter the word vintage and you will get me beaming instantaneously. Local vintage store, Five Stones Vintage did just that. With the tag line, "Go green, wear vintage" you know I'm sold. And as if to add icing on the cake, the prices are pocket friendly. So what's not to love? Well here are my favourites:

Everything about this blue print skirt is so swank. It is both feminine and flirty. A pixelated print maxi in such bright highlighter colour. Now, who can resist that? And vertical stripes are ideal for petite people like yours truly.

The pastel plaid romper reminds me of my mum's pastel plaid dress. Such good old goodness. And a polka dot maxi? Oh yes please.

This perforated shoe takes the cake! Awhile back I blogged about this perforated shoe. A day later when I went online to purchase it, I was shocked that it was sold out. Such sadness. Thus, this wedges with thick platform got me swooning all over again. But as fate would have it, they are a size too big!

Jersey maxi skirt

Apart from being goofy, clumsy is my alternative middle name. Today I sprained my left ankle without even realizing it. It was only when I tried on my heels that I could feel the tugging. Needless to say, flat leather sandals was it for today. That aside, a few days ago, my mum was cleaning out her wardrobe and found this jersey maxi skirt. She then handed it over to me. Ecstatic beyond words, I started to play around with it, pairing it with blouses after blouses. Today, my initial plan was to wear it with this linen blouse tucked out. But since the skirt is a little loose, I thus needed a belt to prevent it from slipping. Heh. Hence, I went with this instead. A loose fitted top is always a savior.

Is it just me or do any of you have trouble logging in to blogger lately? Anyhow, if you are close to me, then you would know how much I loathe lugging around huge bags. While I do have tons of big bags, I very much prefer to carry a small across-the-body bag, a very tiny handbag or no bag at all. In fact, my guy's sister-in-law was shocked when she saw me carrying a puny handbag to school. Heh. I guess I am just one of those who can go out carrying an ATM card, my phone and some cash. Or if I were to bring along a camera, I would usually get my guy to stuff it in his pants' pockets :) Like today, I felt too lazy to carry anything and thus decided to slide my handphone's cover onto my vintage leather belt. Hear hear, I said slide. Not clip on like those used by our local uncles. Heh. And no, it is definitely not fanny pack-ish at all. In fact, it is really convenient.

The Singapore skyline

Getting a chance to have a bird's eye view of the skyscrapers in the financial district was utterly amazing. Seriously. Fifty-nine stories up, I looked down only to see that those humongous buildings were no longer as intimidating as they once were. On days when my two feet are touching the ground at level one, those buildings tower over me significantly. However today, instead of feeling puny, I was in awe. You know, I realized that you will never fully appreciate the surroundings until you have seen it from the top. Seeing how the river flows harmoniously was breathtaking. To add, I was finally able to breathe in fresh air while enjoying the cool sea breeze.

Clogs with jeans

I wish weekends were a little longer. That way, all of us could enjoy that much needed rest. For me, sleep is such a luxury these days. Well, scratch that, I am an insomniac, thus sleep will always be a luxury. Tsk. And not to sound like a whiny kid, but I am soo darn exhausted. Seriously. My brain feels as if it has been fried and I guess that explains why my hair has been feeling more like dry grass than hair. Oh well that's life. That's what they say it is.

p/s: I have this weird obsession of mixing two unlikely food together. Like today, I had glazed doughnut with yoghurt and fruits. I guess it runs in the family. My cousins love dipping their Mcdonalds fries into their vanilla ice-cream.

Satin pants and scallop collared cardigan

Amidst the sea of short shorts, tank tops and flip flops, I must have stood out like a sore thumb. Usually, I would embrace the stares but on days like today, I would cringe whenever someone did a double take. Well I do not know about you but at times like this, almost like a reflex, I would ask my guy if there was something on my face. Normally my guy would respond with a simple, "No". But today, he laughed continuously, leaving me completely puzzled and bewildered by his unusual response. Then, he proceeded to explain that my cuffed pants would be perfect for the flash flood that we have been having these few weeks. To add, he said I looked ready to brave the flood. And oh, throughout the day, my guy kept teasing me and said I was wearing "banjir" (flood) pants. Flood pants or not, my mum's satin pants is definitely comfy to sit in. To compliment the luxurious feel of the pants, I paired it with a lace camisole and my scallop collared cardigan which I thrifted four years ago.

p/s: The cardigan appears orange here but it is actually brown.

Ever tried munching on spicy drumstick and coleslaw in the movies? Tsk. I thought I was doing fine but obviously I wasn't. Perhaps I was too glued to the screen. Man was Inception mind blowing. Seriously. Anyway, the moment I stepped out of the movies, I realised that I had gravy stains all over my white tee. Oh wait. You haven't heard anything yet. The gravy must have dripped onto my hair that it tangled really bad. Oh well. I guess there is always a first for everything huh.

Pardon me if I keep jabbering about football. But one cannot deny that in just a few hours time, another history will be made :) Football history that is. And although my favourite team is long gone *coughs coughs* my second favourite made it to the finals. Go go go :) Hehe. World cup aside, I raided my mum's wardrobe today and I found this beautiful linen blouse. Considering the heat and humidity, this slightly sheer blouse was beyond perfect as it kept me exceptionally cool throughout.

It must have been pretty annoying to visit here and realise that there is no new entry yet again. Pardon me for that. To put it midly, I have been soo caught up enjoying what life has to offer :) That and the world cup of course. World cup aside, I got this maxi dress for my mum in KL and I ended up borrowing it from her. Well that is after she has worn it though. I just couldn't resist the pleated design and the fact that it has no ruffles. And oh, if there is any excuse for the sporadic posting, it has got to be attributed to the fact that I often forget to take pictures even if I have my camera with me. Like I mentioned earlier, sometimes you are just too caught up enjoying life.

Taking an airplane to KL has never been an option for us. We would much rather take the coach and enjoy what mother earth has to offer. The endless plantations, the line of mountains in the distant, the fog that engulfs the mountain and but of course, laying back and watching the clouds take shape of almost anything is enough to make the journey worthwhile. Well, you can never find such picturesque scenery here.

Of walking around in circle, monorail broke down causing delay and change in plans, doing a 4km walkathon at 1.30 am to the hotel along unlit roads, getting diarrhoea for the whole trip, searching for public toilet in wee hours of the morning when you really have to go, being bloated every hour from eating too much, and of course, celebrating my guy's birthday all trip long. KL is and will always be, lots of fun. More updates later :)

It is my birthday today. A year older, hopefully a year wiser as well. Today I wore out my asymmetrical draped dress. Gosh do I love how one side of it is sleeveless and the other has long sleeves. Just another one of those days where we would rather sit down and read a good book than be squashed among many others. But then again, come to think of it, both of us are not fans of crowded places. Anyway, coupled with a cup of mocha latte and a slice of cheesecake, I could easily sit there for hours. And oh, I am among one of those few who prefer Coffee Bean to Starbucks. Just because the ambience is better and but of course, everything taste soo much nicer here. Heh.

p/s: My guy got me this book in an attempt to make me more financially literate. He said to me, "You may be highly educated scholastically and professionally, but you also need to build up on your financial education." Tsk. Thanks hoN :)

As of late, I am always at home, spring cleaning my room, which allow me to add, is still in a state of chaos. And after tossing away some things which I feel that I don't need anymore, I am still baffled at the fact that there is still a lack of space for my clothes and what nots. Anyway, after three days of staying at home, all I want to do when I go out today is to eat, a lot. And that is what we did today, all day long.

Went out solely to have dinner with my guy. I got bored while waiting for him to knock off from work hence I walked around and took some pictures of the surrounding. And oh, when you are starving, even a tiny chocolate pancake can taste heavenly. And while we are at that, even a cup of iced soya milk can make you forget (albeit for awhile) that your dress is sticking to your back. Such humidity calls for an unfussy ensemble, and a humongous orchid hair clip is needed to tame the frenzied hair.

Considering the knee, flats is the way to go now, especially woven sandals in bright hues. And if sandals seems too casual, a peep toe perforated shoe will take me anywhere from day to night.

Spent the day with my dearest little cousin, who in reality is much younger than I am, but much, much taller than I could ever be. Anyway, I just love this tie-dye tunic. In this humid weather, this tunic is probably the best breezy top one could ever have. To boot, it cost me less than five dollars. Anyhow, to top off the laid backness, I wore my faux crocodile skin strappy sandals. I thought my puny feet would have looked better if I had some bright neon nail polish on. Oh well.

Went out solely to catch Prince of Persia, which happens to be my guy's favourite game of all time. Anyway, when I saw that the next cinema was playing Sex and the City 2, I exclaimed, "Oh! Sex and the City 2 is out already?!" Instantaneoulsy my guy went, "Since when do you like to watch this?" Well, true that. And before you yell out that I might be living under a rock, I will say first that I am just not fond of these kind of movies. The kind where women only feel empowered when they have the other sex by their side. Having said that, while they have never been my cup of tea, I do enjoy browsing through the captures from the film, just to see what they are wearing.

It's been years, perhaps eight maybe, that I've been on a hunt for that pair of perfect eye wear. Although I am fond of aviator shades, I am not keen on how the frame touches my face when I wear it. So my search continues for that perfect shades that I termed as the "motorcycle goggles". I am not sure if you guys remember, but I termed it as such after I watch the movie, Terminator 2, back when I was a kid. You see, back then, I was very amazed by Linda Hamilton's goggles that I've become obsessed with finding one like that. But of course, the search has been to no avail. Well, in these times, even finding sun clips seems like finding a needle in a haystack.

Was decked in a dainty lace blouse and velvet pants on a very gloomy day. To top it off, I donned my cropped jacket which have not seen daylight in years. But of course, since it is always humid after it rains, the cropped jacket thus never stayed on for long. And oh, I found this fierce lady while searching for velvet drop crotch pants.

So the intention was to have an early dinner then off to the cinema to watch a movie. But I guess we are just one of those people who can never make or adhere to a plan. We prefer to go anywhere as we please, pretty much to go with the flow. So today turned out to be a jalan-jalan (Malay for leisurely walk) date coupled with snippet of deep conversations. That was then followed by a purchase of velvet leggings in an intense shade of burgundy and a bag load of hair bands. And oh, like a deer caught in the headlights much? I have plenty of these caught off guard shots.

May purchases: Pants

I'm one happy bunny. Today my guy surprised me with two pair of pants. When I asked him why he got these, he shrugged it off and said, "I haven't gotten you anything in a long time." Thank you love. Sayangmu selalu. Anyhow, one of it is a black acid wash pants with pixilation prints. Even if I already have two of these in my possession, still, another pair won't hurt right? The other is a black velvet drop-crotch pants with front pleats. Now it is rather safe to say that at the mention of velvet, the first thing that comes to mind is, "cushion covers" or "stage curtains". Albeit the questionable impression that one has of this luxurious material, one cannot deny that when don immaculately, velvet can depict sophistication and perhaps even nobility. With that said, I do acknowledge that while I’m head over heels over them, it will indeed be complicated to pull this pants off. For now, I will leave you with runway inspiration for velvet in Fall 2010.

My dear cousin told me, "Once you go Korean, you'll never turn back." True to her words, I was hooked the moment my remote control landed on Korean channel, KBS. Back when I was a teen, a dear friend introduced me to a heartbreaking Korean drama. Now it seems that I am reliving my teenage years. Becoming a Billionaire is my recent drama addiction. One of the reasons for me being plastered to the television is due to the glorious clothes worn by the two main lead actresses. These are just a few that I have found. And oh my, I am just at awe over Korean designer Lie Sang Bong's Fall 2010 Collection. Who would have thought armours could actually be this wearable?

Went out with the family today to celebrate my mum's belated birthday and my dad's advanced birthday. With an exception to the month of March, from January all the way to June, my family celebrate each others birthday, one month after the other. Needless to say, for five consecutive months, we would be eating five different birthday cakes one after another. Tsk.

Today I went out with my guy and his brother's family. As always, I had loads of fun even though my arms ache from carrying his niece. Anyway, I ended up taking many pictures but only a few of it had my face in it. After umpteen times of searching in her bag, that somebody had no choice but to succumb to using her mobile phone's camera. Went our for grocery shopping, had a late dinner, then stopped by a clothing store to get a pair of khaki and grey pants. The colour was perfect, but the fit was far from flattering. I do not really have a rule of thumb when buying a pair of pants, but I usually look for two things. One, the pants need to flatter my lower end. And two, they should not expose my butt crack when I try to sit down or bend. Anyhow, tonight was the first time I took photos in a changing room. Heh.

Today we decided to play around with the wind. It was impossible not to as the wind was just too keen on turning me into a Medusa head. The strong breeze was actually an aftermath of a very heavy downpour which left us stranded for quite a bit. Anyway, as I was taking these pictures, I was happily and merrily dancing to a bunch of pop songs. And since we wanted to capture the movement, the blurriness in the pictures were thus inevitable. Heh. And oh, I find this dress to be amazing. It has handbags print on it and the lower half of it has pockets on each sides that just drape loosely at the bottom. And the blazer is actually made of white lace and has really puffy sleeves. It is somewhat similar to the one I wore in some entries below. I know.

Today was my awkward moment in front of the camera day. Practically every photo has me making funny faces or giving a comical grin. Oh well. If there's a bad hair day then I guess there ought to be a hilarious camera day eh. Anyway, I have to say that I am one of those who would get two of the same thing in different designs or colours granted that I really like it a lot. Case in point is my skirt below. A trip to the hair salon

Hairs salons are a comical sight to say the least. Being wrapped in a hideous black nylon cape is enough to make me chuckle. And as if that isn’t amusing enough, the mandatory large clips that could miraculously transform anyone hair from a sleek Cleopatra to a frenzied Medusa head can make me winced even more. To add icing to the cake, my hairdresser for the day was a young chap. And for each time I glanced at my reflection on the mirror, I winced, cringed and flinched. But I managed to convince myself saying that I didn’t look as humorous as last time. At least those large clips that he pinned on my hair were all of the same shade and design. Previously, my head was full of multicoloured humongous clips, enough to make me look as if candy canes were growing on my hair. Oh heck I'm jabbering. My point is, hair salons aren't a place I enjoy going to.

Yeah! Finally I've uploaded some of the pictures. We went to Genting Highland first and oh my was it chilly there. It was such a pity that it rained in the evening and for that, we couldn't finish the outdoor rides. Oh well, perhaps next time we will. Anyway, since the pictures we took there were pretty much foggy, I'll just leave you with a few pictures taken in Colmar. And contrary to what others have said about it, I love that place. Chilly, refreshing and peaceful. Nothing beats breathing in clean, fresh air. To top it up, our room had a verandah overlooking the mountains and golf course. Picturesque!

A series of unfortunate events. Well that basically explains how my week have been thus far. The first one happened when I tried to pry open a tin biscuit with damp fingers. That resulted in the tin cover being stuck to the tip of three of my fingers. Deep gash, blood and flesh. Not a pretty sight. And oh, my three fingers were bandaged for the whole week. The second mishap happened when I decided to tickle my younger brother from the back when he was fixated on his laptop. Silently I crept towards him and as I tickled, his reflex was to elbow me, right on my lips. Busted and swollen lips. Not a pretty sight yet again. And then there was this itch to skip, and so I did, without warming up first. That resulted in a throbbing pain on my right knee. Well the right knee hasn't been behaving for months now and I pretty much aggravated the pain further. And oh, did I tell you about the part where I heard noises coming in from my brother's room at 5 in the morning? Curiosity killed the cat and as I switched on the light to his room, a lizard came crawling towards me. Naturally, I jumped and hit my left arm on the door panel, hard, to the extent that the paint on the door panel stuck to my arm. Imagine the impact and the damage done to my arm. Oh well. Silly, silly things I do. It amuses me sometimes. Oh. How do you like my bucktooth pose? Heh.

Salam Aidil Adha buat semua

First and foremost, I would like to wish my fellow Muslims, a Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha. With that said, for the first time in my life, I actually wasn't donned in my traditional Malay costume today. Well, when you haven't got any grandparents, these special ocassions aren't as enjoyable as before. Anyway, is it just me or has it been rainning like it never did rain before? Gees. But that didn't deter us from walking around the whole day. We walked a lot, a whole lot to the extent that both our calves were sore and swollen. I believe I practically collapsed on my bed the moment I reach home. And oh, are you guys sick of these boots yet? My mum and my guy are. But at least my mum smiled when she saw me in her long sleeved dress.

p/s: I walked through a mud puddle today. Needless to say, I won’t be wearing these boots for some time. And oh, I cufffed the sleeves to three quarter. Plus, I bet you can't see it but there's pretty pleats on the front and back of this dress. Told you I needed a new camera.

We spent today celebrating my guy's niece 1 year old birthday. Gosh do kids grow very fast eh. It seems like yesterday that she was wrapped in a blanket and now, shes toddling around the house, climbing on tables and what-not. Seeing her remembered me of the time when I was a preschool educator. Despite the fact that I got peed on the lap and such, I did really enjoy nurturing them young minds. And while I am aware that they might not even remember me, it's still rewarding to know that I have touched their lives, in one way or another.

p/s: Pardon the "hands covering the face" pose. It was a long ride home from where the party was and me being me, I slept the whole way home. And since these were taken after I reach home, needless to say, I was not fully awake! And say, today I found out that sheer and pastel goes very well with black.

Just a quick update. I've been living in this boots for days. I have to say, out of all the shoes that I own, this pair of boots is the best investment ever. It does not have heels, meaning I could walk for hours in them. Plus, they are waterproof, making it highly useful for our current rainy weather. Since owning a pair of Hunter is too idealistic, cost and practicality wise, I shall just be content with this pair. And say, rainy days means subjecting myself to indoor and grainy shots. Oh well. I'm happy though.

My guy is back and boy I couldn't be any happier! Within that long, ahem, duration that we've been apart, I actually realise that I will definitely suck at long distance relationship. Tsk. Anyway before he left, he ordered me two shoes. I reckon he did that in a bid to make me happy. Well, it might sound shallow but one can only imagine my delight when the package arrived. Happy I was. And oh, I got to say, brothers are annoying but they can be sweet as well. I pointed to my brother a picture of a Balmain dress and made a remark of how lovely it would be if I could own something similar. Next day, he came home, demanded a kiss and a hug, then passed me a bag with a dress in it. Well of course it wasn't Balmain, but you got to admit, it is pretty sweet huh. Anyway, I decided to pair it with my new boots and side swept braids, again. Heh.

On another note, we caught My girlfriend is an agent.
Good laugh I must say. And no, it's nothing like Mr and Mrs Smith.

Seeing that my photographer is far away in UAE, I'm taking a two weeks hiatus from posting outfit entries. Well I suppose that I could take it myself but me and camera's timer is like fish on land. Totally hopeless. Anyway, if you're an avid visitor here, then you would probably be familiar with my saying, " I swear by menswear." At present, I'm particularly atrracted to men's pants. It's quite a shame though that I could only fit into one of my brother's pants. That pants would be the pants that I'm wearing on the post below. It actually has pleats on the front but somehow it just doesn't show. And oh, its the same pants that I wore here. Wow. What an avalanche of the word pants huh. Tsk. Anyway, I don't usually post runway photos but these are too good to not share. Bejewelled jeans and side-laced cargo pants worn with combat boots. Yum.

My camera has been acting weird lately. Well it really doesn't come as much of a surprise though considering the numerous times that I dropped it. Faulty light, check. Multiple scratches, check. Well so now you know that I have exceptionally butterfingers. Having said that, or shall I say whined and complained, I still have no intention of getting a new one. New things, especially gadgets are a chore. I'm really not big on all these tech devices. Heck, I suppose I would still be listening to music on Walkman if they didn't already discontinue manufacturing tape cassettes. Anyway, I went khaki for today. It's not a shade that I'm fond of but it's not extremely unwearable either. And again, I braided the hair. But this time, I braided it into a side-swept braids. In case you didn't know, long hairs are also a chore sometimes.

As I've been busy visiting and welcoming family members to my home, I haven't had any opportunity to step out of the house wearing my usual, or "normal" clothes. By normal I mean, pants, dresses, blouses, etcetera, etcetera. Anyway, I bet my bottom dollar that I have gained back the kgs that I've shed during the fasting month. It has been really hard to resist savouring the delicious lontong, rendang, lodeh and kueh mueh. Yum. And now I just shudder to think of the many more kgs that I could possibly gain seeing that Aidilfitri is a month's long. To make matters worse, I still have many more relatives to visit. Oh brother.

In the pictures are my mum, younger brother, cousin and my "boxer" nephew. I am officially an aunt now : )

How is your Hari Raya celebration thus far? Mine is bittersweet. Bitter, for whenever I hear the Takbir, instantly, I’m reminded of those who have passed on. I’ve always been close to my late grandparents, hence, not having them around, especially on such a joyous celebration pains my heart. Namun setiap yang hidup pasti akan mati. Al-fateha buat nenek-nenek dan datuk-datukku. Anyway on a happier note, I was featured on a local site called Trooops. The ladies from Trooops were sweet enough to send me a feather headgear. Also, I was asked to style an outfit to complement the headgear. I decided to pair it with a simple black dress that has this crazy, voluminous ruffled collar. To top it off, I layered it with a knitted bolero. I'm keeping it simple, as always.

You know. Consistency and uniformity has always been my source of comfort. Needless to say, I have a pretty stringent routine that I adhere to every single day. However, these days, I feel that everything seems out of place. The usual things that I normally do and confide in to, can no longer give me that sense of contentment that I need. Oh well. I guess it’s about time I try out something new.

This entry is long overdue. I received this 6 Hands T-shirt from Nikicio sometime last year. Ever since then, I have been wearing it constantly to the extent that my guy said, "Don't you have any other clothes to wear?" Tsk. Well today I wore it to school and alas, I managed to take a picture of it. But sadly, I couldn't snap a detailed picture of it for it rained soon after. To all my fellow islanders, I wish you a Happy National Day!
Being the patriotic me, ahem, I wore navy and black. Heh. But I have to give it to my guy's brother and his wife for they were all donned in our flag's red and white. Anyway, how did you spend our nation's 44th birthday? Did any of you actually joined in the pledge at 8.22pm? Well I did, much to my guy's amusement. And allow me to add that I was at Changi Village hawker centre when I recited the pledge. Uhuh. But I did it discretely of course. Tsk.
